I'm slowly building on my career as a racer! This takes more time and dedication then racing sometimes (I think). After all, they want to make sure your not some wack job out there representing their name and product. Vice versa, as a racer you want to make sure the company can meet your needs as well as be representative of the products you use and depend on.
